Location: Spalding (Home to a team of around 540 colleagues producing coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar products, pasta salads, and grains for major retailers like Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Nando’s, and Pizza Hut, featuring an on-site restaurant with hot food)
Pay Rate: Up to £16.43 per hour depending on skill level
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shift, 2s & 3s, 06:00 – 18:00 (Days)

Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Spalding facility, we are currently seeking a proactive and safety-focused Hygiene Team Leader to ensure production halls and front-of-production areas remain immaculately clean, safe, and fully compliant with hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Efficiency: Report directly to the Hygiene Manager, ensuring the hygiene team operates as efficiently and safely as possible while adhering strictly to hygiene schedules and agreed plans.
Production Area Maintenance: Keep front-of-production areas clean and tidy, manage the removal and cleaning or storage of equipment and tray stacks, and adapt quickly to minimize food safety risks.
Flexibility & Support: Promote a safe working environment, work towards agreed targets, and show flexibility to cover absences or holidays by assisting with basic hygiene tasks.
