Support Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with critical healthcare and estates infrastructure teams to connect talented financial and commercial professionals with rewarding career opportunities. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join the Hard FM Estates Team at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
In this vital role, you will lead the commercial and financial management of Estates operations, ensuring that all works are accurately captured, costed, invoiced, and documented in full compliance with contractual and financial standards. Your expertise will directly support efficient hospital operations and high-quality healthcare delivery.
Commercial & Cost Management: Ensure all commercial and financial activities, works, variations, and scope changes are accurately recorded, priced, and formally agreed prior to execution.
Financial Reporting & Invoicing: Administer accurate cost control records, support the invoicing process, and provide detailed weekly reports highlighting financial performance, key variances, and risks.
Supplier & Stock Control: Oversee the Goods Received Note (GRN) process for third-party suppliers and collaborate with the Stores Supervisor to maintain full traceability of materials, stock, and replenishment.
Performance & Compliance: Work alongside CAFM leads to monitor performance data, mitigate Service Failure Points (SFPs), and support periodic commercial reviews and audits.
Qualifications: Qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or possessing equivalent professional experience.
Industry Experience: Proven experience working within a Facilities Management (FM), Estates, or Hard Services environment (ideally within healthcare or the public sector).
Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of commercial processes, variation management, cost control, financial reporting, and FM contract performance regimes.
Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, alongside high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CAFM systems.
Competitive Package: £45,000 to £48,000 per annum + excellent benefits.
Leave Allowance: 27 days’ holiday plus 8 public holidays (35 days total), rising to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years of service.
