About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Fresenius Kabi Ltd—a global healthcare leader dedicated to the corporate philosophy of 'caring for life'—to source a passionate, patient-focused Bank Nurse. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their bank IV Therapy team. In this field-based Clinical Nurse Advisor role across Essex, you will provide exceptional, one-to-one home care, empowering chronically and critically ill patients to maintain their independence and enjoy a high quality of life at home.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the NHS to support patients requiring parenteral nutrition, IV antibiotics, and IVIG therapies.
Conduct daily community visits to connect and disconnect patients to parenteral feeding systems.
Monitor and deliver essential nutritional support in the comfort of patients' homes.
Facilitate smooth hospital discharges in coordination with healthcare teams and offer ongoing education and support to patients, carers, and medical professionals.
Manage an independent caseload in agreement with the Regional Nurse Manager while adhering strictly to the NMC Code of Conduct.
Person Specification & Requirements
Qualifications & Registration: Registered Nurse with a current, valid UK NMC registration.
Clinical Experience: A minimum of 1 year of post-registration clinical experience.
Driving Requirements: Full UK driving licence.
Core Competencies: Confident, professional communication in one-to-one patient environments; high flexibility and adaptability; excellent time-management skills and autonomous workload management.
Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
