Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and self-reliant Registered Nurse to join our night team. In this pivotal clinical role, you will take full responsibility for resident wellbeing during night hours, managing unit operations, overseeing medication, and utilizing strong critical thinking to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents through individualised care plans and assessments.
Manage unit clinical duties during the night, including the ordering and administration of medication, clinical handovers, and supporting CQC compliance.
Exercise strong critical thinking and self-reliance, effectively managing care staff and remaining calm during emergency situations with limited overnight medical support.
Coach, guide, and mentor colleagues to foster best practices across the care team.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
A valid NMC pin with active registration as a Registered Nurse.
Proven clinical experience within a regulated care setting, with a strong understanding of compliance, policy, and standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful trust with residents, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Confident, calm under pressure, and capable of working autonomously during night shifts.
