Contribute to sixth-generation capability and help influence the UK’s next-generation fighter! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital Senior Manufacturing Engineer position on behalf of BAE Systems.

Operating within the FCAS UK Technology Programme manufacturing engineering team at Warton, you will provide technical programme support, prepare Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs), process instructions, and tooling requirements, while helping shape innovative air vehicle technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Planning & MBOMs: Prepare MBOMs, process instructions, conditions of supply definitions, and identify necessary tooling requirements.

• Cross-Functional Liaison: Liaise with impacted manufacturing engineering and operations areas to ensure outputs are clear, understandable, and effectively executed.

• Programme Support: Support manufacturing operations in the successful discharge of programme workloads.

• Team Supervision: Supervise junior team members, providing guidance and approving their work as necessary.

What We Are Looking For

• Educational Background: HNC/HND, Degree, or apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aeronautical Engineering).

• Industry Experience: Solid background in mechanical process planning and manufacturing operations.

• Collaborative Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills with a proactive approach to professional development.

• Security Clearance: Prepared to apply for and achieve required enhanced security clearances.
