Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford Council to recruit a talented and analytical Data and Intelligence Officer for Vision Zero Bradford (VZB)—a flagship initiative aiming to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries on the district’s roads by 2040.
Working collaboratively across internal services, emergency services, public health, and local communities, you will play a vital part in delivering the Vision Zero Implementation Strategy (VZBIS), using advanced data intelligence to protect all road users, particularly the most vulnerable.
As Data and Intelligence Officer, you will deliver in-depth data analysis to guide targeted safety interventions and shape strategic decisions. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Intelligence: Delivering high-quality strategic intelligence to senior managers and board members to influence decisions and optimize resource allocation.
Analytical Design: Defining organizational information needs, designing tailored analytical approaches, and applying innovation throughout the process.
Collision Analysis: Performing detailed analyses of demographic, environmental, and behavioral factors contributing to road traffic collisions.
Data Processing & Reporting: Querying large datasets, using analytical software to process and summarize data, and presenting findings through reports, meetings, and presentations to support cost-effective interventions.
We are looking for a detail-focused, self-motivated professional who brings strong analytical capabilities. Essential requirements include:
Degree-qualified or proven professional experience as a data analyst.
Advanced analytical skills with proven experience utilizing GIS and database systems.
Strong research capabilities and proficiency in processing and interpreting complex datasets.
Clear, adaptable communication skills with the ability to present complex insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
