We are partnering with a reputable enterprise business to find an experienced Data Application Developer (Python) to join a growing Enterprise Data team on a 12-month contract.
In this role, you will build intuitive applications that shape how data is accessed, understood, and utilized across the business. Operating within a modern data platform environment, you will develop user-focused analytics applications that enable stakeholders to draw trusted insights and make better decisions.
Build, enhance, and scale analytics applications using Python in production-level environments.
Create user-focused solutions that simplify and streamline access to complex data and insights.
Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and cross-functional business stakeholders to turn requirements into valuable data products.
Support the ongoing development of reusable datasets, metrics, and reporting capabilities.
Apply a strong DevOps mindset and CI/CD practices to ensure seamless deployments.
Proven commercial experience building data or analytics applications using Python in production.
Mandatory experience working with modern data platforms, specifically Databricks.
Strong SQL skills, alongside data analysis experience incorporating reporting and visualization tools.
Solid understanding of software development best practices, version control, and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills tailored for a cross-functional corporate setting.
