Pay Rate: £15.67 per hour
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 19:00 – 03:00
About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated operations and technical leadership talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Wisbech facility, we are currently seeking a hands-on, proactive Team Leader for the night shift to oversee production lines, operate and set up machinery, minimize downtime, and ensure products consistently meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Machinery & Line Operations: Set up and operate production machinery, complete line start-ups and product changeovers, monitor equipment performance, and make routine adjustments.
Quality & Documentation: Carry out rigorous quality, weight, and specification checks throughout production while accurately completing paperwork and recording performance targets.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with engineering and production management to troubleshoot faults, minimise downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold strict HACCP, GMP, and health & safety standards.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment. Also a fantastic opportunity for aspiring engineers or entry-level technical talent looking to build hands-on skills!
Core Skills: Strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, accurate record-keeping skills, and effective communication.
