About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for a proactive, hands-on Section Manager on behalf of our client. If you love getting stuck in, leading teams to deliver exceptional results, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will take ownership of an important RTC production section, ensuring high standards are consistently met and keeping operations running effectively shift after shift.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production: Manage all processes in your area to meet business targets, output requirements, and audit standards (including BRC, TFS, SMETA, and others).
Labour Planning: Take ownership of labour planning and cost control, including the effective management of agency workers.
Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and structure your team to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Profitability & Quality: Drive the profitability of the production operation through efficient, controlled processes while maintaining strict quality and compliance.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure allergen awareness and controls are fully understood and implemented (RTC only).
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements across operations, processes, and industry standards.
Shift Pattern & Hours
Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 06:00 to Finish

Skills & Experience Required
Proven previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated history of leading successful teams and delivering measurable results.
Strong working knowledge of technical and compliance requirements.
Certifications Required: IOSH certified and Food Safety Level 3.
