A solid background working within professional kitchens with an understanding of how to manage a kitchen environment effectively.
Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements is highly desirable.
Contract Type: Please note that this is a bank contract.
Flexibility: Must be flexible to work weekends and/or weekdays when needed, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with home managers and residents to develop and implement menu ideas based on resident requests and wishes. Showcase your culinary skills and creativity during themed days and special events.
Understanding Dietary Needs: Work closely with the wider care staff to ensure we are meeting residents' specific nutritional and dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergy management.
Kitchen Management: Act as the main point of contact for the kitchen, taking responsibility for day-to-day stock management, food safety, and high hygiene standards.
