Position: Assistant Service Delivery Manager
Location: Hayes
Salary: £37,878 per annum + Car / Car Allowance + up to 10% Bonus + Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Service Delivery Manager for their I&C operation in Hayes. If you are an experienced operational leader with a background in Transport, Logistics, Waste Management, or a similar fast-paced environment—and want to play a crucial leadership role in building a sustainable future—this is an exceptional career opportunity.
Operational Leadership & Customer Service: Lead and support operational teams to deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient service with a strong focus on reliability, responsiveness, and a "right first time" approach.
Performance & KPI Management: Monitor service performance, resolve service failures quickly, manage customer complaints, and collaborate closely with Customer Service and Commercial teams.
Health & Safety & Compliance: Maintain high standards of health and safety, fleet compliance, and operational best practices across the site.
Team Development & Employee Relations: Mentor supervisors and operational colleagues, drive continuous improvement, and manage employee relations matters (including disciplinaries and grievances) while deputising for the Senior Service Delivery Manager when required.

Experience & Qualifications: Proven management or senior supervisory experience within Waste, Transport, Logistics, or a similar operational environment. A transport COPC is required for this position.
Skills & Knowledge: Strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of Health & Safety, operational compliance, and familiarity with fleet management/tachograph requirements.
Competencies: Excellent communication, organizational, numerical, and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and a full UK driving licence.
