Location: Knights Grove Care Home, Thomas Road, North Baddesley, Southampton, SO52 9EW
Salary: £13.45 - £15.02 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (33-hour contract)

We are partnering with Knights Grove (part of Bupa) to find a motivated and inspiring Senior Care Assistant for a permanent, full-time role. In this vital leadership position, you will take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, guiding your team of Care Assistants, and ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of personalized care, dignity, and warmth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Taking day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, leading team shift handovers, and managing a talented team of Care Assistants.
Administering medication, reviewing and updating care plans, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Helping with the training, induction, and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed, supported, and confident.
Building trusting relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals such as GPs and District Nurses.
Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties and ensuring CQC standards are consistently met.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a senior care role alongside a completed NVQ Level 3 in Care (or a willingness to work towards it with our full support!).
A positive, highly motivated mindset with great interpersonal skills and a passion for working in a close-knit team.
Clinical expertise, a strong understanding of the rewards and challenges of care, and a deep commitment to delivering personalized, dignified support.
