Position: LGV Driver (C&E/Class 1) - Day Shift (Client: Co-op)

Location: Co-op Dalcross LSC, 1 Vallance Road, Dalcross, Inverness, IV2 7AE

Pay Rate: £19.06 - £23.49 per hour (£19.06/hr base rate plus £2.89/hr weekend shift allowance, £1.54/hr unsocial shift allowance between 7:00 PM–3:00 AM)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Minimum 40 hours per week + regular overtime)

About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit a dedicated LGV Driver (C&E/Class 1) - Day Shift for their logistics and supply chain centre in Dalcross, Inverness.

In this role, you'll transport products safely from the distribution centre to local community stores, helping to offload stock upon arrival. You will play a vital role in keeping shelves stocked and customers happy, all while enjoying a safe, supportive work environment that values a true work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver stock safely, professionally, and cost-effectively from the distribution centre (DC) to regional stores.

• Drive safely, obeying the rules of the road and following correct Co-op procedures at all times.

• Positively represent Co-op out on the road, treating other road users and pedestrians with respect.

• Provide an efficient and supportive delivery service, helping to offload stock safely into stores regardless of weather conditions.

What We Are Looking For

• Licence Requirements: A valid C&E category (Class 1) LGV driver's licence OR a C category (Class 2) LGV driver's licence.

• Experience: Previous experience as a driver (multi-drop delivery experience is preferable).

• Working Pattern: Start times between 3:00 AM – 6:00 AM. 40 hours per week worked 5 days over 7, including weekends (additional overtime hours available to meet operational needs).

• Skills & Attitude: Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, great organization, and strong time management.
