Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to support specialized home-care placements, partnering to find exceptional care providers for individuals with complex needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a client in Sevenoaks who lives with epilepsy, visual and hearing impairments, and is non-verbal.
Beyond managing complex clinical needs, this role is highly person-centred. The client loves music, going out, and exploring different activities, making this a wonderful opportunity to build a meaningful, joyful connection.
Specialist Clinical Care: Deliver expert support for complex needs, including enteral feeding, gastrostomy care, medication administration, oral suctioning, ventilator care, and safe manual handling.
Person-Centred Engagement: Support the client's daily routines, interests, and hobbies, including enjoying music, going out, and participating in varied community activities.
Care Plan Adherence: Follow care plans written by nurse managers precisely, acting as an advocate in the client's best interest.
Health Monitoring & Documentation: Closely observe and monitor the client's health status, keeping thorough and accurate documentation at all times.
To excel in this specialized agency placement, you will need:
Previous practical experience in a complex care or support environment.
A calm, friendly, patient, and engaging disposition.
Flexibility to work a rotational mix of long day shifts and sleep night shifts.
