We are currently recruiting a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Wellbeing and Activities Assistant on behalf of our partner, Avery Healthcare, at their luxury Guildford House Care Home in Guildford.
Your primary focus will be supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in planning and delivering a diverse, engaging program of activities to stimulate residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Helping maintain a safe, positive, and professional living and working environment.
Reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
Assisting with ordering, organizing, and preparing supplies for upcoming activities and social events.
Helping build and maintain links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums, and libraries) to encourage intergenerational activities and community access.

Our Ideal Candidate Must:
Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Understand the profound role that meaningful social interaction plays in the overall well-being of individuals.
Possess a positive attitude toward older adults and a genuine commitment to providing stimulating, quality social events.
Have previous experience working with older people in a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting.
A satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (costs covered by the employer).
Valid proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
