We are partnering with London Medical to find an organized, professional Medical Secretary on a permanent basis, with flexible options ranging from ad-hoc bank hours up to full-time. As a Medical Secretary through Supportive Bridge, you will be at the heart of the patient journey, efficiently managing reception and administrative activities to ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for every visitor, patient, and consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, warmly welcoming patients, visitors, and consultants.

• Manage appointment bookings, amendments, cancellations, patient registrations, and generate correspondence.

• Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently and professionally.

• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, process payments, invoices, and insurance information.

• Support clinical results management, scanning, post distribution, stock control, and general reception upkeep.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a Medical Secretary or administrative role, backed by GCSEs (or equivalent).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.

• Desirable traits include previous healthcare experience, knowledge of medical terminology, audio typing skills, and familiarity with healthcare systems like Meddbase or Compucare.
