As a People Practices (HR) Manager with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will play a crucial behind-the-scenes leadership role, helping our clinical and operational teams deliver the best possible care across the East Midlands. Created to provide vital senior People capacity during a period of significant organisational activity and complex workforce change, this position holds accountability for driving proactive, operationally focused HR support, managing high-profile employee relations matters, and safeguarding workforce stability.
Partner with operational leaders across NHS 111 and Urgent & Emergency Care services to boost performance, engagement, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
Drive the proactive management of complex employee relations activities, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, conduct, and organizational change processes.
Provide objective, independent, and legally robust advice to senior leaders, carefully balancing organizational risk, operational demands, and colleague wellbeing.
Utilize workforce data, trends, and insight to support smart operational decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
Support operational resilience and workforce planning, identifying risks early and implementing targeted interventions to improve attendance, retention, and stability.
Coach and upskill operational leaders to enhance their confidence, capability, and accountability in people management.
CIPD Level 7 qualification or demonstrable operational HR experience working to that level.
Extensive operational HR experience within a complex, highly regulated organization subject to external scrutiny or significant change.
Proven expertise in managing highly complex, sensitive, or high-profile employee relations cases and mitigating workforce risk.
In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and a track record of advising senior stakeholders on employment law and organizational risk.
Demonstrated ability to leverage workforce data and insights to drive tangible operational improvements.
