Care Assistant (Day)

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Barnes Court for a Care Assistant (Day) to join their team in Sunderland, UK.

In this role, you will be at the heart of daily life for residents, delivering compassionate, high-quality care during day shifts. Working alongside a supportive team, you will assist residents with their physical, emotional, and social needs, ensuring their independence, dignity, and wellbeing are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care routines, including washing, dressing, hygiene, and mealtime support with kindness and respect.

• Encourage independence and build meaningful, trusting relationships with residents and their families.

• Contribute to individualised care plans and help maintain a safe, welcoming home environment.

Requirements

• A passionate, reliable, and organized approach with strong communication skills.

• Flexibility to commit to full-time day shifts on a scheduled rota basis.

• Right to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of Sunderland, UK.
