Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time (Full-time only)
Shift Pattern: Saturday to Wednesday, 06:00 - 14:30

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their recent combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated operations talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their flagship Northampton facility—operating across an impressive 5-unit campus with around 2,000 colleagues as the sole supplier of sandwiches, wraps, rolls, and sushi for Marks & Spencer—we are currently seeking a reliable Line Porter to join their fast-paced production team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Material Delivery: Ensure all production materials are delivered to the lines on time to keep operations running smoothly, strictly monitoring maximum time allowances out of chilled conditions.
Waste & Stock Management: Ensure end-of-run materials are properly returned, waste segregation bins are correctly attached, and stock is continuously refilled and managed alongside fridge porters.
Quality & Safety: Immediately report any quality or food safety issues to the Quality Monitor, Line Coordinator, or Technical team while maintaining safe working practices.
What We Are Looking For
Full on-the-job training is provided. The ideal candidate will possess:
Communication & Numeracy: Good verbal and written English language skills, alongside solid basic numeracy.
Work Ethic: High attention to detail, accuracy, the ability to thrive under pressure, and a strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Experience: Previous background working in an FMCG, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is advantageous, though full training is given.
