About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a dedicated and professional Bank / Relief Registered Nurse for Lent Rise House. Situated in the heart of Burnham between Slough and Maidenhead, Lent Rise House provides high-quality nursing care and support for older people, including those living with dementia, within a modern, warm, and inclusive setting.
As a Registered Nurse, your professionalism, kindness, and clinical leadership will be at the core of everything you do. You will lead and manage the care team, provide clinical guidance, and deliver person-centred care in partnership with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Lead and manage the care team on shift, ensuring exceptional standards of nursing and personal care are consistently met.
Care Planning: Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in close collaboration with residents, key workers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams (GPs, hospitals, etc.).
Clinical Procedures: Undertake key clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, catheterisation, end-of-life care, and management of deterioration.
Mentorship: Act as a positive role model, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMH) with a current, valid NMC pin.
Experience: Post-registration experience with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and clinical competencies (training and refresher support also available).
Personality: A compassionate, autonomous, and resilient professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for elderly care.
