Position: HGV Technician / Mechanic
Location: Bracknell, RG12 7QT (Note: Positions also available in Normandy)
Salary/Rate: £49,660.98 per annum (£21.15 per hour) + paid overtime at 1.5x hourly rate
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 06:00 AM – 15:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities
Servicing & Maintenance: Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and comprehensive safety inspections on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and mechanical repairs to ensure optimal fleet performance.
Compliance & Records: Ensure all vehicles strictly comply with DVSA and company standards while accurately completing job cards and maintenance records.
Working Environment: Focus purely on technical vehicle maintenance without the hassle of cleaning, supported by an experienced, friendly team.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) is ideal.
Licence: A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence is required. (Please note: A basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process).
Experience: Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles, backed by strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Attitude: A positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
