Laundry Assistant (Day)

As a Laundry Assistant (Day), you will oversee the routine washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of personal clothing and care home linens. Working closely with the housekeeping team, you will handle fabrics with care, respect residents' personal items, and maintain a clean and organized laundry area.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron, and fold residents' personal garments, bed linens, and towels to exceptional standards.

• Sort laundry items properly, following infection control and hygiene procedures to prevent cross-contamination.

• Distribute clean garments and linens back to resident rooms accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail with pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and garment care.

• Reliable, organized, and physically capable of handling routine domestic and laundry duties.

• Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Reading, UK.
