Working Hours: Rotating weekly shift pattern (Week 1: Monday–Friday; Week 2: Tuesday–Saturday; rotating times between 06:00 – 14:30 and 07:00 – 15:30)
About the Role
We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit a dedicated QA Coordinator for their technical team at the Shobdon Hatchery. Please note: This is a fast-paced, hands-on role split between the hatchery floor (approx. 70%) and the office (approx. 30%).
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Testing Assessments: Conduct physical and bacteriological egg quality assessments, evaluate sanitation and fumigation processes, and perform detailed chick quality evaluations.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor egg core temperatures across the supply chain, analyze breeder flock fertility by house, review hatch results, and investigate incubation losses.
Continuous Improvement: Produce reports, identify non-conformances, support corrective actions, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Hygiene & Biosecurity: Monitor strict hygiene standards across the hatchery while maintaining compliance with health, safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity regulations.

What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a hatchery, food production, or manufacturing environment is desirable, though full training will be supported.
Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data, high attention to detail, and competent IT skills (Microsoft Excel and Word).
Communication & Attitude: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive and organized approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility: Willingness to provide weekend cover or shift flexibility when required.
