About the Role
Join our esteemed technology and defense client and play a critical role in shaping the future of enterprise IT demand! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this dynamic IT Demand Shaping Analyst position on behalf of BAE Systems.
Operating within the Enterprise IT Demand Management team, you will manage the early stages of the demand lifecycle. You will work closely with customers, business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and partners to understand and clearly define new demand before it progresses into formal initiation and delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology and sector roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Definition: Collaborate with customers to identify business problems, opportunities, scope, intended outcomes, and underlying drivers for new demand.
Constructive Challenge: Challenge solution-led requests and stakeholder assumptions to ensure the core business need is accurately defined.
Proposal Generation: Produce comprehensive demand proposals capturing scope, outcomes, assumptions, risks, dependencies, indicative costs, and recommended next steps.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across Demand Shaping, the wider DPMO, and the strategic demand pipeline using data-driven insights.
Consultancy Support: Contribute to non-project consultancy tasks, including options papers, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit/ROI analyses.
What We Are Looking For
Business Analysis Experience: Extensive background in business analysis within a complex, large-scale organisation.
Delivery Model Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital, data, or technology delivery frameworks (such as Agile).
Enterprise Awareness: Ability to evaluate demand holistically across diverse business areas, capabilities, processes, systems, and services.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to engage, influence, and constructively challenge senior and technical stakeholders.
