About the Role
We are partnering with Maypole Care Home in Hedge End, Southampton, to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. Maypole is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help residents live their best lives in a warm, community-focused environment.
As a Laundry Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will play an essential role in resident wellbeing by ensuring our high standards of cleanliness are maintained, keeping residents looking and feeling great, and ensuring every detail of their care environment counts.
Key Responsibilities
Always maintain high standards of laundry operations within the home.
Keep residents looking and feeling great by washing, drying, ironing, and repairing items of clothing as needed.
Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use around the home and report any supply or maintenance issues to the Senior Housekeeper.
