Location: Field-based across Devon & Cornwall (Bodmin, Exeter, Exmouth, Plymouth, Taunton, Torquay)
Salary: £29,000 per annum
About The Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Area Supervisor. In this integral field-based role, you will oversee service delivery, lead frontline teams, and maintain exceptional standards across multiple client sites throughout Devon and Cornwall. A company vehicle is provided to support regular travel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain high service delivery standards and client satisfaction in line with KPIs
Build and maintain strong local client relationships
Conduct regular audits, resolve issues, and ensure cleaning specifications are consistently achieved
Provide line management, support, inductions, and training for frontline operatives
Support contract mobilisations through site visits and training
Oversee and manage health & safety compliance, including working toward the IOSH Managing Safely qualification if not already held
Conduct stock checks and manage ordering processes for materials and equipment
Oversee site operations, provide cleaning cover where necessary, and support neighboring areas as required
Maintain accurate records using company IT systems and collaborate closely with Regional Operations Managers and Account Managers
What We Are Looking For:
Demonstrable experience in a similar supervisory role within facilities management or contract cleaning
Possession of the IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or a willingness to complete it within your first 3 months)
Excellent communication skills and IT literacy
A proactive, methodical, and organized approach with strong attention to detail
A self-motivated, confident, and approachable manner with a flexible "can do" attitude
Strong team player capable of motivating others
A full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across client sites
