Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Alliance Medical Ltd—Europe’s leading independent provider of imaging services with over 30 years of excellence—to source an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant. Joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team of senior radiographers, assistant practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff at Southampton General Hospital, you will play a vital frontline role in supporting patient pathways, assisting during diagnostic scans, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Support Radiographers during patient scans, including assisting with patient preparation, positioning on scanners, and chaperoning.
Perform clinical procedures such as cannulation (where applicable) and manage clinical stock levels.
Handle administrative duties, including making telephone bookings for patients and processing patient data via electronic management systems.
Contribute to clinical audits and maintain high accuracy standards in line with radiation protection protocols and operational guidelines.
Person Specification & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience working within a healthcare setting or clinical environment interacting directly with patients.
Skills & Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong IT and administrative capabilities; meticulous attention to detail; ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
Personal Attributes: A flexible, organized, and enthusiastic attitude with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
