Job Title: Registered Nurse (Days)
Location: Thatcham Court Care Home, Chapel St, Thatcham RG18 4QL
Salary: £21.98 to £24.27 per hour (depending on experience) + £1,000 Welcome Bonus (paid after 4 weeks of service)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (48 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, including paid breaks)

We are partnering with the well-respected Thatcham Court Care Home—boasting a "Good" CQC rating and a 9.7/10 score on carehome.co.uk—to find a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse. Thatcham Court is dedicated to delivering person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice, helping residents live their best lives.
As a Registered Nurse through Supportive Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in leading the unit, managing clinical duties, and ensuring high standards of physical, emotional, and social wellbeing for our residents. You will also be fully trained on digital care systems to streamline workflows and focus heavily on clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Take professional responsibility for the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring individual physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Manage the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, and evaluating individual care plans.
Carry out resident assessments and develop tailored care plans while providing clinical guidance to the broader care team.
Coach and guide team members, delivering formal and informal teaching programmes to uphold best practices and support CQC compliance.
Maintain clear, effective communication and reporting to smoothly hand over clinical issues to colleagues and healthcare professionals.
What We Are Looking For
A valid NMC pin and a strong background in a clinical care setting.
Proven experience ensuring policies and standards are met to a high clinical level.
Confidence in offering clinical leadership, supporting care teams, and building meaningful, trusted connections with residents and their families.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and reporting skills.
