About the Role
Are you a qualified General Nurse looking for a secure, full-time permanent night role where you can enjoy clinical autonomy and provide vital oversight for residents' physical, psychological, and social needs?
Working as a permanent Night Nurse (RGN) through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will create a safe and supportive environment at South Chowdene through night shifts. You will rely on your expert professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions, develop tailored care plans, administer medicine safely, and ensure clinical excellence across the home.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Oversee and deliver comprehensive nursing care addressing residents' physical, psychological, and social needs at night.
Make critical clinical decisions and exercise full professional autonomy.
Create and update tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments.
Administer medication safely and maintain compliance with clinical best practices.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance for care staff on night shift.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Valid, active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary clinical practices and elderly care.
Proven experience producing robust care plans and managing clinical risk assessments.
Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
A compassionate, person-centred, and thoughtful approach to nursing.
