Barchester is currently seeking a dedicated Regional Clinical Development Nurse to support care homes across Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Northampton, Gosmore, Melbourn, and St Peter (Jersey).
Key Role Details
Position: Regional Clinical Development Nurse
Location: Melbourn Springs Care Home (Hyacinth Drive, Melbourn, SG8 6FY) & regional travel
Salary: £54,000 per annum
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Permanent, Day Shifts)

About the Role
In this regional capacity, you will lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and quality of care across nine Barchester care homes.
Drive Standards: Review monthly clinical governance databases and KPIs to analyze results and develop practical strategies ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior home staff to implement key actions, deliver clinical investigations, and organize training.
Travel: Regular travel is an essential component of this regional role.
About You
Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
Experience: Proven background working in a care home environment with evidence of continued professional development.
Skills: Strong understanding of current regulatory requirements, confident clinical mentoring abilities (including supporting newly qualified nurses), sharp analytical mind, and excellent relationship-building skills.
