Position: Medical Records Officer (Bank Role)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with The Saxon Clinic in Milton Keynes—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a flexible Medical Records Officer for their Patient Administration department.
This is a bank role operating on an "as and when required" basis, giving you the flexibility to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide essential cover during staff annual leave or absence. In this vital administrative role, you will prepare, manage, track, and safeguard both paper and electronic patient medical records to ensure clinical teams have timely access to accurate information.
Record Preparation: Prepare patient records for upcoming clinics, admissions, diagnostic investigations, and medical procedures.
Documentation & Filing: Ensure all necessary documentation (such as consent forms, test results, and referral letters) is accurately filed, accessible, and maintained in compliance with data protection policies.
Retrieval & Tracking: Efficiently locate, retrieve, log, and track the movement of physical and electronic notes across departments, ensuring records are stored securely.
Clinical Support: Partner with clinical and administrative teams to maintain seamless, high-standard record-keeping workflows.
Experience: Previous administrative background, ideally gained within a healthcare, medical, or records-focused environment.
Governance Knowledge: A solid understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and information governance protocols.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, and robust organisational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
Technical Skills: Comfortable working with IT systems, databases, and electronic record platforms.
Desirable Criteria: Experience using hospital systems like PAS, EPR, EMIS, or Meditech; familiarity with clinical record-keeping standards and medical terminology; NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Administration or a health-related discipline.
