Shift Pattern: Fully flexible over 7 days (Monday to Sunday, between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

About the Role

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a friendly and customer-focused Driver - Home Delivery for their store in Morton Park, Darlington.

If driving is right up your street and you fancy delivering miles of smiles to our customers' doors, this fast-paced and varied role is for you! No two days are the same as you thrive on making customers happy every day by delivering fresh products safely and on time.

(Please note: Applicants must be over 18, hold a full driving licence for over 1 year, have no more than 6 penalty points, and be over the school leaver’s age.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Deliveries: Deliver fresh groceries and products directly to customers' doors with a helpful, friendly, and professional attitude.

• Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive delivery vehicles safely and efficiently across scheduled routes while adhering to all road and health & safety standards.

• Active & Hands-On Handling: Safely lift and move delivery totes (weighing up to 18kg) in and out of the vehicle and into customer homes.

• Customer Queries: Use your initiative to support and resolve customer queries, ensuring an exceptional delivery experience from start to finish.

About You

We are looking for energetic, reliable individuals who love meeting new people and take pride in going above and beyond.

Essential Requirements:

• Licence & Age: Over 18 years old, holding a full driving licence for a minimum of 1 year with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Approach: A helpful, friendly, and approachable style with a passion for delivering great service.

• Physical Capability: Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and capable of lifting and moving totes weighing up to 18kg.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work a fully flexible shift pattern across 7 days (Monday to Sunday between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM).
