About the Role
Are you an ambitious, high-performing sales professional looking for a high-impact role with a supportive team? Through Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting a Business Development Manager for Bidfood to drive new business acquisition across the Isle of Wight territory. You will play a central role in executing territory growth plans, converting free-trade customers, and building sustainable, long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and convert new free-trade customers aligned with company growth strategies.
Pipeline & Territory Management: Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities using a data-led, insightful approach.
Negotiation & Closing: Confidently negotiate and close deals at the decision-maker level.
Account Onboarding: Lead structured onboarding to ensure customer retention and work closely with Sales Centres to embed new accounts successfully.
What We Are Looking For
Sales Track Record: A proven history of delivering new business growth with strong prospecting and closing skills.
Commercial Mindset: A data-driven approach to territory planning and opportunity targeting.
Drive & Resilience: High levels of self-motivation, accountability, and resilience.
Preferred Experience: Previous background in foodservice, FMCG, or B2B distribution is advantageous, though a strong new business mindset is essential.
