Are you an experienced leader with a passion for fresh food, exceptional customer service, and team management? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with our national retail client to recruit a high-performing Market Street Manager (E & W) for their Wellington store in Telford.

In this vital leadership role, you will lead and empower colleagues to put the customer first, ensure market-leading product availability, and drive outstanding performance across your department. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the store, combining a keen eye for detail with a proven ability to develop talent and build strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, empower, and develop a high-performing team, handling people routines, scheduling, absence management, and talent identification.

• Fresh Food Excellence: Drive market-leading availability and maintain high standards across Market Street with a strong focus on quality and freshness.

• Customer-Centric Operations: Listen and respond to customer feedback, ensuring exceptional service and performance against department targets.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other store managers to build effective relationships and support store-wide operations.

About You

• Management Experience: Proven background in managing a team within a fast-paced environment, whether in retail, hospitality, the service industry, or travel & tourism.

• Great Communicator: Able to share knowledge, best practices, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable managing change effectively, remaining flexible, and challenging processes to drive continuous improvement.

• Customer & People Focused: Active listener who prioritises customer and colleague needs.
