Location: Larkrise Care Centre, Prescott Close, Banbury, OX16 0RD
Pay Rate: £13.78 per hour (with NVQ and Weekend Enhancements available)
Contract Type: Permanent / Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday, working alternate weekends)

About the Role
Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Larkrise Care Centre, tucked away on a quiet street in Banbury. Larkrise offers compassionate, individualised care for up to 60 residents in a calm and friendly setting, providing residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care with a special focus on supporting those living with dementia.
Are you an experienced catering assistant, commis chef, or cook looking for your next challenge without split shifts and anti-social evening hours? As a Permanent Cook (30 hours per week), you will join a passionate, friendly catering team to create delicious, nutritious meals that ensure every resident enjoys a wonderful dining experience tailored to their personal preferences.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Qualifications: Previous professional kitchen experience catering for large groups and specialist diets, supported by a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (working towards or holding a Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking is a great bonus!).
Personality & Passion: Confident in engaging with elderly residents and their families to understand individual dietary needs and preferences.
Commitment: Ready to secure a permanent 30-hour weekly contract working regular daytime hours with alternate weekend working.
