Position: Clinical Deputy Manager
Location: Druid Stoke Care Home, 31 Druid Stoke Avenue, Bristol, BS9 1DE
Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + £2,000 Welcome Bonus*
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional night visits or weekend work as required)

As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and clinical activities within the home, drawing on your expertise to provide day-to-day guidance, maintain optimal staffing rotas, and foster a strong sense of community.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support all clinical nursing care and activities within the home.
Create and update individual care plans with your team, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication and medical records.
Manage rotas efficiently to ensure safe, adequate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
Provide day-to-day clinical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to the team, promoting resident independence, choice, and dignity.
Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and external partners (such as GPs and District Nurses) to raise the home's profile locally.
A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and professional development.
Up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to delegate effectively, communicate honestly, and mentor multidisciplinary care teams.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, combined with a compassionate, respectful approach.
