Position: Care Assistant
Location: Edmund House Care Home, 98-108 Everest Road, Ashby, Scunthorpe (DN16 3EE)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Days, Nights, or Late Shifts available: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM; rotas include alternate weekends)
Salary: £12.75 – £13.75 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview
We are looking for motivated, positive individuals with great interpersonal skills to join the team as a Care Assistant. Whether you are an experienced carer or brand new to the sector, you will be at the heart of making a daily difference by providing personalized social, emotional, and clinical support with warmth and kindness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with a high standard of clinical, social, and emotional care, meeting their unique individual needs.
Support residents with everything from daily companionship to comprehensive personal care.
Work collaboratively as part of a team supporting nurses and senior care assistants in monitoring resident health and reporting changes promptly.
Communicate effectively with residents' families, friends, and external healthcare professionals.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
A naturally caring, warm, and empathetic personality.
Great interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting others.
Open to both experienced carers and those looking to start a new career in social care (full training and digital care systems onboarding provided).
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including alternate weekends.
