Druid Stoke provides high-quality residential, nursing, respite, and palliative care, welcoming anyone aged over 50 into a warm, supportive community.
As a Senior Care Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in running a unit. You will lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Care Assistants while working closely with nurses to deliver clinical excellence and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit and leading shift handovers for the care team.
Support clinical duties, including assisting nurses with observations, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate digital records.
Drive, train, and supervise new and existing team members to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment.
Build strong, positive relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals like GPs and District Nurses.
Assist residents directly with a range of personal care duties and daily requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Completed or actively working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (full support provided to finish your qualification if needed).
Previous experience in a senior care role, demonstrating a clear understanding of its rewards and challenges.
A motivated, positive, and compassionate approach with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
