Location: St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home, 2 London Road, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 9BZ (Set in a beautiful, unique Grade II listed historic building offering warmth and tranquility)
Pay Rate: £13.67 per hour (plus higher rates of pay at weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / Flexible (0 Hours - Bank shifts to cover annual leave, sickness, etc.)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Bank / Relief Activities Co-ordinator for St Wilfrid's Priory Care Home in Arundel. Housed within a stunning Grade II listed former priory, our vibrant and joyful community is designed to promote warmth, dignity, and a profound sense of tranquility while specializing in residential and respite care.
As our Activities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering a dynamic, stimulating program of events, hobbies, and entertainment. By getting to know our residents personally, you will design activities that promote independence, spark fond memories, and ensure every day is filled with fun and purpose.
Program Design: Plan and deliver an engaging ongoing calendar of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' individual interests and abilities.
Resident Engagement: Spend time getting to know residents, understanding what they love (or used to love) doing, and helping them create new, joyful memories.
Community Links: Connect with the local community, welcoming visitors, performers, and volunteers to enrich the residents' social experiences.
Team Collaboration: Encourage and inspire care colleagues, friends, and family members to join in with events and support a lively atmosphere.
Experience: Previous experience organizing events, activities, or working with elderly people in a residential setting is a wonderful advantage.
Personality: A warm, energetic, and imaginative individual with a natural ability to engage others and bring people together.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for enriching the lives of older adults.
