As a Housekeeping Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as the unsung hero of our luxury community, using a flair for perfection and a touch of care to keep our facilities sparkling and our residents beaming with pride.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure residents' care home facilities, public areas, and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.
Operate specialized equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers.
Handle general upkeep tasks such as emptying bins, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors, and cleaning carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows, and door panels.
Manage the washing, drying, and ironing of residents' clothing, bedding, and communal laundry.
Report safety hazards immediately and ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH standards at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, coupled with a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards.
A friendly, approachable, and meticulous personality with exceptional attention to detail and a true pride in your work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate smoothly across various functions and services with colleagues, residents, and their families.
