About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Branston to recruit a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Electric Pallet Truck Driver (Pallet Barrow) for their site in Abernethy, Perth.

In this crucial operational role, you will ensure the smooth, safe movement of products and packaging materials throughout the factory, providing vital support to their fast-paced grading and packing operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Material Handling: Safely transport products and packaging materials across operational areas using company equipment.

• Safety & Compliance: Carry out pre-operational safety checks, maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping, and adopt a "Clean As You Go" approach.

• Operational Support: Support grading and packing operations to achieve daily production targets, assisting with machine monitoring and minimizing downtime during changeovers.

• Quality Control: Monitor product quality, ensure stock rotation and FIFO processes are followed, and accurately complete production paperwork on time.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and help train new team members where required.

Skills & Experience Required

• Good awareness of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Previous experience working in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing setting (food manufacturing experience is highly advantageous).

• Strong communication, teamwork skills, and a positive, flexible attitude toward changing priorities.

• Good attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining top-tier quality standards.

• A valid Pallet Barrow licence OR a strong willingness to undergo full training.
