Contract Type: Permanent | Part-Time (20 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota)
Shift Pattern:
Monday & Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM OR 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (alternate weeks)
Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (every week)
Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM OR 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (alternate weeks)
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (alternate weekends)

As the front of house receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our award-winning retirement community. Your role is crucial in greeting visitors, managing inquiries, coordinating daily village operations, and ensuring residents feel supported, valued, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome visitors warmly, offer refreshments, and manage sign-in procedures.
Handle incoming telephone calls promptly, direct them appropriately, and relay accurate messages.
Address resident queries, report maintenance or care issues as necessary, and coordinate bookings for restaurant reservations, transport, and facilities.
Process financial transactions for sundry items, issue receipts, and confirm payments.
Manage mail correspondence, update display boards, and keep administrative records (forms, room statuses, and resident lists) current and accurate.
Previous experience in a reception or care home environment is advantageous.
Excellent communication abilities and superb phone etiquette.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Outstanding attention to detail and strong time-management skills, enabling you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
