About this role
As Ward Manager, you will oversee daily ward clinical operations, resource allocation, and staff development in a 49-bed en-suite facility equipped for complex surgery, acute dependency, and oncology care. You will lead by example, fostering a collaborative and professional culture while driving compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations and clinical workflows of the ward department.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of qualified nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centered patient care.
Uphold CQC clinical governance standards, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all patients and staff.
Requirements
Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
Recognized mentorship qualification.
Significant nursing management experience, ideally gained as a Junior Sister, Charge Nurse, or Ward Manager in an acute care setting.
