What You Will Be Doing

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and build individual rapport with service users to empower their recovery journey.

• Under supervision, plan, facilitate, and review evidence-based group and individual OT treatment programmes.

• Identify and action referrals both in-house (supporting staff) and to external agencies.

• Support the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways, and protocols while maintaining accurate, contemporaneous records.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.

• UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration (or currently in the process of applying).

• Evidence of the ability to research, plan, implement, and evaluate projects for specific groups.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, alongside a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Victoria Gardens in Huyton, Liverpool (L36 5SA) is a recovery-focused specialist rehabilitation service incorporating the Good Lives Model. Working alongside a full multidisciplinary team—including nursing, a consultant psychiatrist, a psychologist, an occupational therapist, and social workers—you will help equip service users with the practical skills required for community living and increased independence.
