The Role

Looking for a fast-paced role where you can stay active and make a real impact on the daily store experience? On behalf of our partner client, we are seeking dedicated Stock Assistants to join a dynamic, supportive store team in Cockermouth.

In this essential role, you will be the backbone of store operations. You’ll make sure products are fresh, shelves are fully stocked, and the sales floor is presentable and ready for shoppers throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Replenishment: Unload deliveries and stock shelves quickly and efficiently to ensure maximum product availability.

• Product Presentation: Merchandise items neatly so the store looks its absolute best for customers.

• Quality Control: Inspect incoming stock and check product quality, removing any items that fall below brand standards.

• Customer Support: Offer friendly, approachable service to customers when on the store floor.

• Active & Fast-Paced: Comfortable replenishing stock quickly and staying active on your feet.

• Dependable: Reliable, punctual, and equipped with a positive "can-do" mindset.

• Experience: Previous retail or stock management experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided!

• Shift Times: Shifts can start as early as 6:00 AM and finish as late as 10:00 PM (store schedules vary). Please ensure you have reliable transport to get to the Cockermouth store for these shift times.
