Position: Senior Care Assistant (Night Shifts, Permanent, Full-Time)

Pay Rate: £12.90 - £14.51 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time (Rota includes alternate weekends)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Bupa to recruit an experienced and driven Senior Care Assistant (Nights) for Cleveland House Care Home in Huddersfield.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you are the heartbeat of the night shift unit, ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care when they need it most. This role goes beyond delivering personal care; you will lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Care Assistants while working closely with nurses to maintain clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Taking day-to-day (or night-to-night) responsibility for running a dedicated care unit.
Assisting with clinical duties, including supporting nurses with observations, medication administration, care plan reviews, and accurate record-keeping.
Leading, managing, and driving a team of Care Assistants, including conducting shift handovers.
Helping with the training, onboarding, and supervision of new team members.
Building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and external professionals such as GPs and District Nurses.
Assisting residents with personal care and ensuring their comfort and dignity through the night.
Completed or actively working towards an NVQ Level 3 in Care (full support provided by Bupa to complete your qualification if needed).
Motivation, positivity, and exceptional interpersonal skills to lead a close-knit team.
Previous experience in a senior care role, with a strong understanding of its unique rewards and challenges.
