About the Role

Working in our busy on-site nursery caring for children aged 0 to 60 months, you will help foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Child Development & Care: Caring for children in accordance with their individual physical, social, emotional, and psychological needs.

• EYFS & Guidelines: Working within NHS, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Ofsted national, regional, and local guidelines relating to day nursery provision.

• Learning & Activities: Delivering inclusive, non-discriminatory, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor learning experiences tailored to each child.

• Partnership Working: Building positive, effective communication links with colleagues, parents, and carers.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and qualified childcare professional who meets the following criteria:

• Qualifications: CACHE Level 3 Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent). Additional certificates in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, or Safeguarding are desirable.

• Experience: Previous post-qualifying experience of working with children aged 0–4 years within a day nursery setting.

• Skills & Knowledge: Excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, alongside a robust understanding of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS framework.

• Note: This post involves access to children and is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
