About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Stock Assistant for the busy retail store in Malton.

In store operations, no two days are ever the same. As a Stock Assistant, you are at the absolute heart of the store environment. You will work alongside a warm, supportive team to keep shelves stocked, ensure product quality, and deliver a seamless shopping experience for everyday customers.

Detailed Key Responsibilities

• Shelf Replenishment: Unpack deliveries and restock shelves quickly and efficiently so inventory is always available.

• Visual Merchandising: Present products neatly to ensure the store always looks well-organized and inviting.

• Quality Control: Check incoming deliveries and perform regular freshness checks, removing any items that fall short of quality standards.

• Customer Engagement: Offer friendly, approachable assistance whenever customers need help finding items.

• Team Support: Work together with store colleagues to keep operations running smoothly during peak trading hours.

• Positive Mindset: A friendly, helpful, "can-do" attitude—retail experience is a bonus, but your work ethic and attitude matter most!

• Active Pace: Comfortable with a dynamic, physical role that keeps you moving throughout your shift.

• Reliability: Dependable and flexible when it comes to scheduling.

• Transport Readiness: Shifts can start as early as 6:00 AM or finish as late as 10:00 PM. Please ensure you have reliable transport to get to and from the Malton store for these hours.
