Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT) and Serco Leisure for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Swimming Coordinator.
Based at Loughborough Leisure Centre, you will play a pivotal role in helping people of all ages build confidence in the water, develop essential life skills, and enjoy active, healthy lifestyles. Working within a close-knit, supportive team, you will lead and develop swimming lesson programmes, manage a talented team of instructors, and drive growth, customer retention, and community engagement.
Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a team of qualified Swimming Teachers, handling recruitment, rotas, performance reviews, and professional development.
Programme Coordination: Coordinate and grow the swimming lessons programme, introducing innovative sessions and courses to meet local community needs.
Service Excellence: Ensure high-quality lesson delivery that maximises student retention, repeat participation, and customer satisfaction.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, positive relationships with customers, local schools, and community partners to support outreach and programme expansion.
Performance Monitoring: Review KPIs and reporting data, using insights to improve customer experience and business performance.
Operational Support: Support overall leisure operations, including stepping in to teach lessons when required to maintain seamless service levels.
Professional Qualifications: Must hold a Swim England Level 2 or STA Level 2 Swim Teacher qualification.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing or supervising teams within a leisure, aquatics, or customer-facing environment.
Customer Focus: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
Programme Expertise: Practical experience delivering or managing large-scale swimming lesson programmes.
Digital Literacy: Confidence utilizing IT systems and generating performance reports, complemented by strong organisational skills.
Vetting Requirement: Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check and an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
