Position: Permanent Night Care Assistant / Carer

Location: The Lakes Care Centre, Spine Road East, South Cerney, Cirencester, GL7 5TL

Pay Rate: £14.76 per hour (with higher weekend pay rates available)

Contract Type: Permanent / 36 hours per week (Night shifts)

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find a dedicated permanent Night Care Assistant for The Lakes Care Centre in South Cerney.

Rated 9.8 on carehome.co.uk and Good by the CQC, The Lakes is a 64-bed care home offering day, respite, residential, and dementia care in a comfortable, homely setting. Working through the night, you will provide a reassuring, comforting presence, assisting with personal care and nighttime routines to ensure our residents feel safe, secure, and valued around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centred personal care through the night (including washing, bathing, and toileting support).

• Maintain a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for residents while keeping wakeful watch.

• Build genuine, caring relationships and ensure residents' dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.

• Communicate effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive night team.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Open to both experienced night carers and those completely new to care who bring diverse life experience and a caring heart.

• Attributes: Great communication skills, natural empathy, and a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults.

• Readiness: A willingness to learn, complete comprehensive induction training, and build a rewarding career path with ongoing development.
